Closed lost calculator
Most CRMs are full of lost deals with no real reason attached. Six numbers show how much of your lost pipeline is unexplained, and what a conservative slice of it could be worth.
Under two minutes. No email. Nothing you enter leaves your browser.
Your result
Unexplained lost pipeline
Lost revenue from the last 12 months where the reason field tells you nothing.
Total lost value
Lost deals with no real reason
Average days in pipeline before lost
All figures are in the currency you entered.
What a conservative recovery could be worth
Cleaning up your lost reasons does not resurrect every deal. Set your own view of how much of that unexplained value was genuinely winnable. The default range of 5 to 15 per cent is deliberately cautious.
Move the percentages to whatever you believe. This is an estimate you control, not a forecast and not a promise of recovered revenue.
Your win rate against the benchmark
You've found real unexplained lost pipeline.
The diagnostic finds out what's driving it, and builds the plan to fix it.

The formula
- Unexplained lost deals. Deals marked closed lost, multiplied by the share with no real reason. We round to the nearest whole deal.
- Unexplained lost value. Unexplained lost deals, multiplied by your average deal value. This is the headline figure.
- Recoverable range. Unexplained lost value, multiplied by the low and high percentages you set. The defaults of 5 and 15 per cent are deliberately cautious, and the range is an editable estimate, not a projection.
- Average time in pipeline does not change any calculation. It sits alongside the result as context on what each lost deal cost in sales effort.
A check you can do on paper
200 lost deals at an average value of 40,000, with 65 per cent unexplained, gives 130 unexplained deals, 5,200,000 of unexplained lost value, and a default recoverable range of 260,000 to 780,000.

What happens to your numbers
Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you enter is stored or sent anywhere. The only thing we record is a single anonymous event that says a calculation was completed, with none of your numbers attached.
